Just For Kids Law
Just For Kids supports young people who are faced with being excluded from school. They provide legal advice, practical and emotional support in making sure they get the education and training suitable to their needs.
What?
Just For Kids have a multi year grant for core funding to support their growing organisation.
Why?
The young, vulnerable people that they work with face difficult legal battles and confrontations with education institutions. They are generally poorly represented and supported. Just For Kids Law attempts to redress this balance, working hard to get the children the education and support they deserve.
Outcomes?
We are interested in the impact of the work JFK does and to follow the journeys the young people go through. Each has their own particular set of hurdles to overcome and achievements which are made.
Antigone Award
Just For Kids and Antigone have joined up to give an "Antigone Award" to somebody nominated for having managed to make a big and positive change to their lives. 2009 will be its third year running.
